Realization

I came to the realization.. that I have an idea that I can't blog without pictures. I just have to get over that... so here is my attempt at that... I have a few minutes at work and so I could just jot some little blah blah... I get home and I don't have time. I am always doing something else.

I am going to give you a run down of my life. I have been sick.. ugh... I got a cold on the 24 September 2008. I got up and called into work on Wednesday. I went back to bed, I got up at about 11ish and went back to bed at 1ish. I woke up at 6... wandered around my house, probably had a glass of milk and a piece of bread... then I woke up at 9 ... took drugs and went back to bed. I woke up the next morning at 6. I took that day off too... I am going along my merry way trying to get better. I leave my house twice, that weekend. I went to the stake center and watched Relief Society Meeting and then I went to church on Sunday. I go to work on Monday and Tuesday. I even work out on Tuesday. (that stuff will kill you) After I work out, I am really hungry so I eat some smoked almonds and cheese and crackers. Well. I stop at Sacco's and get some tomatoes. I am going to make some roasted spaghetti sauce. I get home and my stomach is a little weird. At 630 pm I start to throw up and don't quit until 147 am. Those smoked almonds weren't so fun coming back up. UGH! I call Wednesday again. I am so weak and tired. I was throwing up every 30 minutes. I even did some sleeping on the bathroom floor. I seriously don't like having the stomach flu... I drank gatorade. Everytime I woke up I would drink more gatorade. At 5 pm I was keeping the gatorade down and decided I wanted some chicken noodle soup. I have a house full of food.. no chicken noodle soup. I thought I will have chicken broth.. The smell of it made me want to throw up... I texted Paula and asked her for chicken noodle soup. She calls and tells me that she will bring me some down. She is going to leave it on the front porch. She has been sick and she doesn't want this illness... So I go to work on thursday, I am suppose to telework, but I don't have my stuff here. I wake up Thursday with a migraine, so I take migraine meds, they help. I drag myself to work. I work and then I run a couple errands after work. I mainly was in persuit chicken noodle soup. I go to Old Grist Mill and they only have beef soup, I take it. Friday I am off. I putter around at my house. Friday is my Grandma Cook's 80th Birthday. We go to ABC Mandrin. Grandma, Paula, Jessica, Ben, Me, Jamie, Mary Jo, Nola, Ben and Becky were there. It was nice, Johnny Lee played for Grandma. He wanted a kiss, she just gave him a hug. :) We had razzleberry pie. Jamie and I went to the boutique. Grandma and Paula came a little bit later. Then we all went home.

I got up and got ready and went and got Katie. We went to Salt Lake. We went to Nordstrom and the mall that Nordstroms is in. Katie got some really cute shoes... We got a bite to eat, then we headed to the Conference Center. We went to the afternoon session of conference. It was way cool. Neither Katie or I had to been to conference before. We then went to the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, we had dinner on the roof... The food is pretty good... The desserts are even better, but the view is beautiful. See this is where I would want to put a picture. Get over yourself pc. Way cool... day...

Katie's Memories from our day... Some I forgot about it. :)
We started driving to SLC, somewhere around Centerville, Paulette got attacked by a mini tarantula, she flung him on me and I freaked out. We had to pull the car over and shake everything off. We finally found the bugger in the back seat. I almost had a panic attack! I hate spiders.

We then headed to the conference center. The place we parked was in between State and Main on 200 S. so it was like 3 blocks from the conf center. So we hiked it over there in the rain. We finally got inside, go to our seats and watched conference! It was good, I had a hard time listening for most of it. The first 2 talks were really good, and the kids choir did amazing! Next we headed to the Joseph Smith Memorial Building to eat at The Roof. We went in and ate at a delicious buffet. I took pics from the top where we ate, SO pretty ... Picture from Katie.

After that we hiked all the way back to the car in the rain. I was spent after that, we drove home nearly asleep.

Sunday laid pretty low, slept and watched conference.

Monday night, Jamie came to my house and we started pulling out stuff from "the room" . We made some huge progress... my dinning room and kitchen are a mess. Oh I am also making roasted tomatoe sauce.

Thursday night is first game with the Jazz, they play the Suns. :) Can you believe that is coming around again.

Sunday is Landon's birthday.
