So Kellie and my Dad asked why I hadn't been blogging.. Today is best friend growing up's birthday... Amber... Happy Bday! Had a wonderful thanksgiving. I went up to Dad and Lorie's... It was way yummy. I spent the weekend puttering on my house. I move crap from one location to another and I am pretty sick of it.. I need to just get rid of stuff... Design Sponge the blog that I look at constantly. I look at it and they have sterile environments. I really like that look but don't know how to get there...I also have this genetic defect that contributes... I like to have stuff.. There is an author (Henry David Thoreau) , he wrote about Walden Pond. He would decorate his table with three rocks and when they got dusty he would throw them out and start with three new ones.
Status of my house....
Huge Huge thanks to Lorie, she has come to my house, which is so helpful. I get to points when I am like WTH, I don't know what to do... She came and gave me marching orders... Which I am so grateful for. Who knew that I would like to be told what to do.. :) so happy about it
My bedroom is done... There are a few things that need to be done, but they are cosmetic. Well and if would quit putting stuff in there..
Office furniture is in it... I have a old metal file cabinet and I have literally moved it five times. Well this weekend I decided it is going out of my house, it just doesn't work in the flow of my office... (it is all about the flow) I am going to move two book shelves in there and put my cook books there.. Maybe I will actually cook.. Wow that would be so cool. I moved a whole bunch of stuff from the familyroom into the office, to go through and the familyroom served as my office.. I also moved a whole bunch of clothes into my bedroom, that I need to go through (dry cleaner stuff) Hence the move stuff ... from one location to another...
Hall is done. I even did the floor this weekend.
Main Bathroom - Needs toliet/mirrors/lights... Need to also go around wood trim with goof off/and old english scratch cover
Master Bathroom - Needs toliet/mirrors/lights... Need to also go around wood trim with goof off/and old english scratch cover
Livingroom - Lorie needs to touch up the beige paint.. she is the master toucher upper... I can start moving stuff back into the room. Although I had a rug in the familyroom that I want to move into the livingroom, until I find one that I love.
Familyroom - is pretty much cleaned out... I need to clean the rug and I am painting a end table/mirror thing/mirror trim/drawer/stool/lights for bathroom/in the familyroom. I hope to get that started tonight... I would love to get it finished but not sure will make it with the hours that I have tonight... Then I have to sand...
I told Lorie that I keep finding jobs that I like less than the last job... for example... I hated removing wall paper/then I hated sanding/then I hated painting/I really hate the clean up from all the painting.. that is my least favorite so far..
Lorie also was looking at a paint job that a "professional" did and she was like paulette and I better than the professionals... We aren't for hire..
Familyroom -- then texturized - primed ( 2 hours) - painted (2hours) - painted (2 hours) - the clean up - putting the furniture back/which I will need help because some is in the garage and Shaun and Kevin moved it out when we did the floor. - decorate..
Kitchen and diningroom is going to take forever because it has been my staging area and full of stuff from all the other rooms. My tile floors are trashed because of the all the paint and stuff on it.. ought to be fun to take care of. Plus the dust.. You wouldn't believe the dust in my life... Not sure that I am ever going to get rid of that.. :(
Laundryroom bathroom- mirror/light/toliet
Laundryroom - finish about a quarter of wood work with old english scratch cover / i also need to clean out the closet so I can put things away properly... (Yeah I know novel concept)
Objective is still to have it done by christmas morning.
Seriously, don't ever do nine rooms at a time... Insanity.. I am going to be so happy when it is done.. I can't visualize that... being done.. it seems like a wonderful dream.
I will try and be better about blogging... but I get overwhelmed with how much I need to do and how long it takes, plus my computer is still not completely hooked up... Wish me luck on that.. :)
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Lots of luvs,
Ms PC

Start of my Vacation! Woohoo!
Yesterday was the first day of start of my vacation. ;) I am happy I can hardly stand it. Well yesterday. I slept in... I know that you are all shocked. I got up and ran some errands. I came home unpacked my car. I was tired. I still am recooping from my brush with death. Nope I am not mellow dramatic at all. I got up today. I was going to go and get day lillies and I called the lady I was getting them from, they wouldn't be home until three.. it was 11. I went to boones and had lunch. I came home and cleaned my familyroom (aka bedroom) . I went and got the day lillies. They asked me how many I wanted. They are tubers I said I would like six to a dozen. when someone is giving you something you don't want to ask for to much. I was thinking of a single tuber and in a few years they would be absolutely fabulous, that is I can control the damn grass in the flower bed. Oh on friday I got japanese maple. I got one the year that Grandpa Cook died. I killed it. :( Well they had them for $20. I love the look of japanese maples. I decided to plant it right outside my front door. Wish me luck. There is a story that Carol tells about me and trees. I don't have a good history. Some of it my fault some not so much. :) Well back to day lillies. They gave five five gallon buckets full of day lillies I am like oh my.. what am I going to do with that many day lillies. I am going to plant them... if they survive the round up then you all can have some in a few years. I have a plan to do battle with the grass in my flowerbed.. Another wish me luck. There has to be a way to get rid of the grass where I don't want it and have some grass in patches my front yard where sammy sleeps. Go figure. Lorie called and gave me instructions from Dad. he came and mowed my lawn on thursday... woohoo! Thank you... I came home and adjusted my sprinkler days... then sprayed eight gallons of round up. yep eight gallons. seriously I have sprayed either 16 or 20 gallons of round up and 4 gallons of sterilant.. you would think that I wouldn't have anything growing.. I still do.. UGH.. I am working on it though.. one good thing is that along my west fence I have thissel and stickers and I have pretty much got it knocked out. My neighbors to the left have a damn mess. I hope to work some on that. I would really like to do some damage to the nasty weeds... I watered my pots and the plants that I haven't planted yet.
My plan Sunday:
I am going to go to church.
I am going to go help a friend move.
I am going to go with BriAnne and Austin to preston.
My plan monday:
Come home from Preston
Plant all the plants that I have left to plant..
Spray sterilant
Clean
Sand
I hope all is well..

Happy Father's Day
I am last day of lock down. woohoo! I don't think that I have ever been home this long and done nothing. Oh wait, I went outside and watered my plants got the news paper. Sent out father's day cards. Ready to go and take another nap... (lol) When I woke up at 2:11 pm, I thought oh my I might be in trouble come tomorrow morning. It isn't a matter of having my nights and days messed up, I was a little concern about that... This crap that I have is nasty.. nasty... nasty.. It definitely has knocked me down. ugh. Enough about me. :) My aunt Sandra sent an email this morning about memories of Grandpa. It was a great tribute to him. I will put in the lower part of this. It got me to thinking of the great father's in my life. Of course this is my Dad and my stepDad. I was pretty lucky to have my two of my Grandfather's as long as I did.
I was thinking of the top five things that they have taught me:
1. Love of God.
2. Love of Family
3. Love of country... (Dad stole my flag because it was in such sad state and I think he thought that I might keep it up ( he was probably right) )
4. Love of nature
5. Importance of education
6. Importance of service
I am very blessed to have such good men in my life. I would include my little brother in that group. He is a good man too. Well Happy Father's day! I hope that you all have a blessed day.
I was gonna swear... I thought I lost this post. :) I didn't.. woohoo!
Lots of luvs,

Sandra's email:
Dad you may have thought I didn't see, or that I hadn't heard, life lessons that you taught to me. I got every word and perhaps you thought I missed it all and we grew apart.
Dad, I picked up everything, it’s written on my heart and without you I wouldn't be the woman I am today.
You built a strong foundation and no one can take that away and I remember the summer trips to Yellowstone with all of my cousins. I grew up and found my own dreams and value of hard work and very glad that you taught them to me.
You made every holiday and event an adventure even if it was the Fourth of July parade around the square or the 24th of July Parade and the pain of waiting to see what Santa Claus brought waiting for Grandma and Grandpa Cook.
From cement ditches to Park valley excursions for Rock for the basement we floated down the drain ditches on inner tubes. Day trips and watching you graduate from College pursue your dreams. The Cabin and Charlie’s Pride the Angus Bull, Snake my horse. My first car the Dodge Dart and not getting mad at me when I hit the stalled truck of Indians going down 12th street.
All of the memories and adventures were meaningful.
So here's to you, dear dad even though you’re not with us.
From your forever grateful kid
PS MOM thank you because without your execution of all of his plans we wouldn’t have our foundation or memories
Happy Fathers day

So much fun... err not really
More likely I have H1N1 (swine flu) they aren't testing for it. A bit of fyi, in the event that you want to catch this crap... biggest symptom is fever.. then cough... you can have other symptoms, but those where mine. they say to rest, drink lots of fluid...The really fun part about it.. you are contagious for seven days, little people are contagious for ten days. Totally makes sense to me why utah has so many cases of it. if you go to the dr within 48 hours from the onset of symptoms they can give you a shot. Not sure what the shot does I missed the window. Wash your hands.. wash your hands.. wash your hands.. If you think you have it don't go out. I think that I got it at Brie's wedding... I have that kind of luck.. Out of a thousand people I find the one person with and get sick... Bet you wish that you had my kind of luck. well probably not.
Here is more information about it... in the event that you are interested...
http://www.cdc.gov/H1N1FLU/
Symptoms:
What are the symptoms of swine flu?
Although uncomplicated influenza-like illness (fever, cough or sore throat) has been reported in many cases, mild respiratory illness (nasal congestion, rhinorrhea) without fever and occasional severe disease also has been reported. Other symptoms reported with swine influenza A virus infection include vomiting, diarrhea, myalgia, headache, chills, fatigue, and dyspnea. Conjunctivitis is rare, but has been reported. Severe disease (pneumonia, respiratory failure) and fatal outcomes have been reported with swine influenza A virus infection. The potential for exacerbation of underlying chronic medical conditions or invasive bacterial infection with swine influenza A virus infection should be considered.
